What skills will I be able to perform confidently after completing the course?
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to confidently perform a variety of orthopedic casting techniques, including short arm, long arm, short leg, and long leg casts using both fiberglass and plaster. You’ll also learn proper application, molding, removal techniques, and how to identify and prevent common complications—so you can return to your clinic or hospital ready to apply your skills immediately.
Is this course hands-on, and will I get real practice with materials?
Yes. All our courses are highly hands-on. You’ll practice directly with casting materials like fiberglass, plaster, padding, and stockinette—on yourself and your peers—under close supervision. Whether you attend in person or receive a training kit for a remote session, we ensure you gain the practical experience needed to apply what you’ve learned with confidence.
